Marketing Director - Overview
GriffithLaw is seeking a strategic, hands-on marketer to join our growing team. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and can confidently lead both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution across all marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate has a strategic eye on all marketing channels and understands how performance ties back to financial outcomes. They are comfortable leading meetings, presenting ideas and proposals, managing vendors, and juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines. This person doesn’t just execute—they think ahead, make data-driven decisions, and continuously look for ways to improve results across the board.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
· Plan, manage, and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals and target audience
· Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategy
· Oversee and approve marketing content across all channels to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness
· Generate and present new marketing ideas, campaigns, and strategic proposals
Vendor & Partner Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing vendors and partners
· Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies, media buyers, and technology platforms
· Ensure vendors stay on track with timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations
· Research and evaluate vendor recommendations and provide informed approvals
· Gather and provide necessary assets including data, content, and creative materials
Advertising & Creative Oversight
· Direct creative strategy for campaigns including billboards, digital ads, and video content
· Review, edit, and approve creative proofs
· Select advertising placements and manage associated timelines
· Oversee video production processes including shoot coordination, editing, and distribution
Sponsorships & Community Engagement
· Manage all sponsorship relationships and community partnerships
· Plan, coordinate, and attend marketing events and community initiatives
· Identify new opportunities for brand visibility and local engagement
Project Management & Process Improvement
· Lead and manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
· Identify and implement improvements to key business processes including client communication, intake systems, and referral network development
· Collaborate with leadership on larger strategic initiatives tied to growth and client experience
Financial Oversight & Reporting
· Develop, manage, and forecast the marketing budget
· Conduct quarterly and annual ROI analysis across all marketing channels
· Monitor lead tracking accuracy and overall marketing performance
· Use data to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing spend
Internal Collaboration & Leadership
· Plan and lead regular marketing and intake meetings
· Collaborate with leadership on hiring, office initiatives, and team engagement efforts
· Support cross-functional efforts including operations, intake, and client experience
· Assist with administrative, research, and special projects as needed
Additional Responsibilities
· Oversee website updates and ensure accuracy of online presence
· Manage local directory listings, reviews, and award submissions
· Coordinate branded materials including swag ideation, proofing, and ordering
· Contribute to content strategy for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels
· Maintain alignment between internal data and external reporting sources
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in legal marketing, marketing operations, or a similar role (experience in a small team environment preferred)
· Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategy and execution
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
· Exceptional grammar and writing ability
· Experience working with external vendors and agencies
· Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing ROI
· Excellent communication skills with confidence in leading meetings and presenting ideas
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
· (Required) Experience Using; All Microsoft office products, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Tag Manager, Google Ad Words, Jotform Wordpress, Mailchimp, Rella or Social Media Planning software.
· (Preferred) Experience Using; Filevine, Lead Docket, Hona

Benefits
· Compensation: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year based on experience
