North Union Farmers Market is a nonprofit working to build a more fair and equitable local food system by connecting farmers and communities across Northeast Ohio.
About the Role
The Executive Director leads the organization’s strategy, operations, and fundraising. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing multiple market sites, a small team (12–15 staff), and a budget under $500,000. The ED serves as the public face of NUFM and works closely with the Board, staff, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organizational strategy and daily operations
- Supervise staff and support market success
- Drive fundraising and build partnerships
- Manage budget and financial oversight
- Represent NUFM in the community
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Fundraising and financial management skills
- Strong communicator and team leader
- Commitment to equity and community impact

- Some evenings/weekends required
