Role Description
This full-time, on-site role in Charleston, SC is for an Assistant Superintendent who will work closely with the customer and construction team. Responsibilities include overseeing daily project activities, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring safety and compliance on-site, and maintaining project schedules. The Assistant Superintendent will also assist in tracking progress, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring the highest standards of construction quality and efficiency are upheld.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction management and project coordination skills
- Hands-on experience with site supervision and safety protocol implementation
- Proficiency in scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder collaboration
- Familiarity with construction practices, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges in real-time
- Proficiency with relevant project management software and tools is a plus
- Prior experience in commercial or residential construction is an asset
