Astrodynamicists/Trajectory Analysts

Akkodis is recruiting for a Astrodynamicists/Trajectory Analysts for a Space manufacturer in Centennial, CO. This is a contract to hire position with a pay range $40 an hour to $100 an hour depending on education, experience and location. There are mulitple levels of experience needs. The peaceful use of space is essential for continued prosperity on Earth—from communications and finance to navigation and logistics. Client builds innovative technology at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and AI to enhance the capabilities of the U.S., its allies, and commercial partners. We safeguard global security by ensuring space access and sustainability for all. The Systems Engineering team supports multiple programs and disciplines. We are seeking talented, flexible engineers a desire to learn varying skillsets.

• 5 years to 15+years of applicable experience
• Experienced is Space orbit trajectory, calculations, mathematics, maneuver planning, launch/transfer/orbit insertion analysis
• Desire to develop both subsystem domain knowledge and Systems Engineering skills
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
• US. Citizen and eligible for DoD TS/SCI or TS/SAP U.S. government security clearance.
• PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
• Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
• Demonstrated expertise with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Background in range certification, test readiness reviews, and safety boards
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Experience in defense or classified space missions.
• Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and NASA mission standards and processes
• Experience working with government agencies, primes, or subcontractors on space missions
