Hybrid – Torrance, CA (In office at least two days a week)
$97,850 – $133,900 annually
Full-Time | 9/80 Schedule | Some Evening Meetings Required

SBCCOG is a joint powers authority representing 16 cities and the County of Los Angeles, working on issues including sustainability, homelessness, transportation, and senior services throughout the South Bay region.
What You’ll Do
The Finance Manager leads and manages all core finance and accounting functions, including:
- Grant billing and contract administration
- Financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations
- Oversight of finance staff and organizational financial operations
- Accounts payable and treasury functions
- Payroll, benefits, retirement, and PTO management
- Budget development and tracking as well as financial forecasting
This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Quickbooks experience desirable
- Five (5)+ years of progressively responsible accounting/finance experience
- Experience with grant-funded, public agency, or nonprofit environments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and management skills
- Supervisory experience desirable
