We partner with companies throughout the Midwest to reduce risk, improve safety culture, and support OSHA compliance through practical, hands-on solutions.

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented General Industry Safety Consultant to join our growing team.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for someone passionate about workplace safety who enjoys problem-solving, building client relationships, and making a direct impact in the field. The General Industry Safety Consultant will work closely with clients to identify hazards, conduct assessments, develop safety programs, and support OSHA compliance initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career safety professional looking to grow within the EHS industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site safety inspections and facility assessments
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions and controls
  • Assist clients with OSHA compliance and safety best practices
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Assist in developing written safety programs and procedures
  • Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service
  • Travel to client locations throughout the Chicagoland area as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of safety-related experience preferred (internships/co-ops considered)
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Certifications

  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional)
  • GSP (Graduate Safety Practitioner)
