Senior Product Designer – Lighting (Retail Focus)

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Product Designer to support the development of lighting products

for major retail programs.

This is not a concept-only role. We are specifically seeking someone with experience bringing products

to market and designing within real-world constraints.

What we’re looking for:

1 Proven experience designing products that are currently in production and selling at retail (lighting

preferred)

2 Strong understanding of market trends and what performs well in a mass retail environment

3 Solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and cost targets

4 Ability to take a product from concept through production with minimal direction

5 Experience working with overseas factories and engineering teams

6 Experience with major U.S. retailers (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.) is a plus

1 Design lighting products (flush mounts, wall lights, outdoor, etc.)

2 Develop and refine concepts based on cost, engineering, and feedback

3 Collaborate closely with internal teams and overseas partners to bring products to production

4 Ensure designs are practical, well-executed, and aligned with market needs

1 This role will begin with a paid trial project to evaluate fit and working style
