Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Architectural Designer based in Redondo Beach, CA. The role spans all project phases, from concept design through construction documentation and plan check.

Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating drawing sets, collaborating with consultants and team members, and ensuring alignment with client goals, site conditions, and regulatory requirements. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to contribute to both design and technical execution.

Qualifications

• Professional degree from an accredited architecture program
• 7–12+ years of architectural experience
• Experience navigating the plan check process
• Strong ability to produce complete construction documents from concept through completion
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required); Photoshop a plus
• Solid detailing knowledge and experience coordinating with consultants and building departments
• Working knowledge of California building codes and residential construction practices
• Understanding of site planning and design principles
• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and lead aspects of projects when needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
