Welder/Fabricator

We are a 35+ year, award-winning commercial custom sign manufacturer, specializing in illuminated channel letters, dimensional lettering/FCOs, pylon and ground signs, ADA signage, and printed or cut vinyl graphics. We pride ourselves on our out-of-the-box thinking, and production of one-of-a-kind custom signage to ‘wow’ our clients.

Our team includes over 100 years of combined trades experience, and we handle everything from design to permitting, manufacturing, and installation.

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with proven proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of aluminum, along with a strong working knowledge of metal alloys across a broad range of materials. While aluminum welding is a primary focus of this role, we are looking for a well-rounded professional who understands the differing properties, behaviors, and applications of various metals and alloys used in fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding, primarily on aluminum components
• Apply knowledge of aluminum alloys and filler selection to ensure strength, durability, and appearance
• Utilize a broad understanding of metal alloys (e.g., steel, stainless steel, and other non-ferrous metals) to support fabrication needs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld components to specification and tolerance
• Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and project deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of aluminum
• Strong understanding of aluminum alloys and their welding characteristics
• Working knowledge of a wide range of metals and alloys, including how material composition affects fabrication and weld outcomes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with common fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in a welding position
• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred
• Experience welding additional materials such as steel or stainless steel a plus
• Background in custom fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environments a plus
