Associate Wealth Advisor

Swad Wealth Management, LLC – Santa Rosa, CA (Hybrid)

Swad Wealth Management is seeking an experienced Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional to join our growing firm as an Associate Wealth Advisor.

This role is ideal for a financial planner with 3–5+ years of experience who enjoys deep analytical work, collaborating on client strategy, and building long-term relationships. You will work directly with the founder in delivering high-quality financial planning and client advice across all engagements.

This is not a sales role. There are no marketing or business development responsibilities. The focus is on thoughtful, high-quality planning and helping clients make confident decisions.

For the right person, this can include transitioning into a lead advisor or planning specialist role within a relatively short timeframe as you take on increasing responsibility and grow into the position.

Why Join Us

1. Sales-driven environments where growth is tied to production and asset gathering

2. Large firms where planning is fragmented, and advisors are removed from the full client relationship

This role is different.

At Swad Wealth Management, you will work directly with the founder in delivering comprehensive, relationship-driven financial planning to a small group of high-net-worth and retired clients.

Autonomy

-Work From Home: Option to work from home 2-3 days a week on average

-No micromanagement, with a collaborative and supportive environment

-Sabbatical: one month of paid leave every five years

Mastery

Instead of having to focus on company sales targets, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deep and master various areas such as: Financial life planning, Retirement income planning, Tax strategy & Roth conversion analysis, Estate and insurance planning, and more.

Purpose

We intentionally work with a small number of clients so we can deliver meaningful, deeply personalized advice. You’ll build real relationships and help guide major life decisions, making a true impact on the people you serve.

Career Progression & Opportunity

This role is designed to grow over time, with flexibility based on your strengths and interests.

As you develop within the firm, you’ll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in one of two directions:

Lead Advisor Path: Take ownership of client relationships, lead meetings, and guide planning decisions.

Planning Specialist Path: Focus more deeply on financial planning strategy, modeling, and analysis across the firm’s clients.

Both paths are valued and play a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes.

For the right person, this can include transitioning into a lead advisor or planning specialist role within a relatively short timeframe as you take on increasing responsibility and grow into the position.

We support continued growth through professional designations, advanced education, and ongoing development aligned with your interests.

Role Overview

Support the delivery of comprehensive financial planning by participating in client meetings, communicating with clients, and helping guide decisions across retirement, tax, insurance, estate, and cash flow planning.

Build and maintain financial plans using tools like Income Lab and Holistiplan, analyze strategies, and prepare recommendations in advance of meetings.

Serve as a key point of contact for ongoing client needs, ensuring timely follow-up and execution, including trades, withdrawals, and RMDs. Collaborate closely with the lead advisor and operations to implement strategies, maintain accurate client data, and continuously improve planning processes and technology.
