Juggernaut designs and manufactures the Juggernaut.Case line of products. Our products protect, mount, and connect smartphones so they can operate in the harshest environments.
We develop our products in close collaboration with key user groups, including Special Forces, tactical first responders, and extreme outdoor adventure users. Juggernaut.Case products have been deployed to more than 100,000 U.S. and coalition force operators across the globe.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Director of Quality to build and lead our quality function. This role is ideal for a quality leader who values integrity, critical thinking, accountability, and teamwork.

Essential Functions
- Build and implement an ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System from the ground up
- Lead and develop the quality team while building a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Establish and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation to support manufacturing operations, including the audit program
- Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control activities for injection molded components and assemblies across two small local manufacturing sites
- Lead failure analysis, including root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action processes
- Manage supplier quality activities, including audits, scorecards, supplier corrective action requests, and incoming inspection protocols
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle
- Prepare for and lead ISO 9001 certification activities
- Develop and track key quality metrics, including defect rates, first pass yield, and customer returns
- Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant product safety standards, quality standards, applicable regulations, and customer contract requirements
- Partner with Operations leadership on regulatory compliance across the company, including audits related to EHS and OSHA
Basic Qualifications
This role is ideal for a quality leader ready to grow into a broader director-level scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 5–8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and implementation
- Demonstrated leadership potential through team leadership, program ownership, or cross-functional influence
- Proficiency with core quality tools, including RCA, CAPA, AQL inspection, and metrology
- High integrity, strong accountability, and a team-first working style
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation, training, and cross-functional alignment
- Comfortable working with business systems such as Microsoft Office and document management tools
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ certification, such as CQE, CQM, or CQA
- Experience with injection molding and plastics manufacturing quality
- Experience with small to mid-sized manufacturing companies
- Strong critical thinking in quality, product safety, and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership acumen
- Experience in a regulated environment, such as consumer goods, product safety, or compliance
