POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Affiliate Relations is a senior, systems-minded leader responsible for building and running SKINN's affiliate program at scale. This role owns the full affiliate lifecycle - acquisition, onboarding, activation, content management, performance optimization, retention, and compensation - across TikTok Shop, Meta, and emerging creator commerce channels.
This role requires both the process discipline to scale without burning out the team, and the commercial credibility and relationship instincts that make top creators want to stay and grow with the brand. The right candidate has designed and scaled affiliate systems before: tiered onboarding flows, content tracking frameworks, performance reporting dashboards, compensation structures, and retention programs. They use AI to ensure human attention goes exactly where it should.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Architecture, Acquisition & Scaling
- Design and own the end-to-end affiliate infrastructure: acquisition pipelines, tiered onboarding flows, activation sequences, content tracking systems, performance reporting, and retention programs
- Build and document repeatable processes that scale without degrading creator experience
- Define and manage affiliate tiers — from long-tail micro-creators to VIP partners and agency-represented talent — with appropriately differentiated support models for each
- Develop and execute affiliate acquisition strategy across TikTok Shop, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Amazon, and additional platforms
Agency & Partner Management
- Own and manage relationships with affiliate agency partners — including strategy alignment, performance accountability, and day-to-day direction
- Serve as the senior commercial point of contact for VIP affiliate relationships and agency negotiations
- Lead contract negotiations with top creators, agency partners, and high-value affiliates — including rate-setting, exclusivity terms, deliverable scoping, usage rights, and paid partnership agreements
Performance Management & Monetization
- Own affiliate performance analytics: define KPIs, build reporting cadences, and translate data into program decisions
- Design and manage compensation structures, commission tiers, and performance incentives aligned to business objectives
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase affiliate-driven revenue through activation, optimization, and upsell
- Oversee content usage rights tracking, licensing documentation, and affiliate content coordination ahead of campaigns and launches
AI & Systems Thinking
- Actively apply AI tools to build smarter workflows, automate repeatable tasks, and scale affiliate support without scaling headcount proportionally
- Continuously audit the program for opportunities to shift routine work to systems — freeing the team to focus on relationships, judgment, negotiation, and creative decisions
- Champion an AI-first operating mindset across the affiliate team
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build, manage, and develop the affiliate team as the program grows
- Partner closely with marketing, e-commerce, product, operations, and the live commerce team to align the affiliate program with broader business objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 6+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer/creator partnerships, or creator commerce, with at least 3 in a leadership or program ownership role
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling affiliate systems and processes - not just managing relationships
- TikTok Shop experience is required; experience with Meta affiliate programs strongly preferred
- Proven track record of contract negotiation and commercial partnership management with creators and/or agencies
- Hands-on experience with CRM and affiliate management platforms
- Strong analytical skills and comfort building and owning performance reporting
- Genuine curiosity about AI and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow, productivity, or program outcomes
- Beauty, personal care, or consumer products industry experience preferred

ROLE DETAILS
- Role Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)
- Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience
- Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
- On-Site Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Remote Schedule: Monday & Friday
