Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Bookkeeper based in Tucson, AZ. The Senior Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing bookkeeping tasks, overseeing journal entries, and utilizing accounting software to maintain financial accuracy. The role also involves working closely with the finance team to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple companies/entities
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance
• Coordinate with external accountants and vendors as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
- Strong skills in Bookkeeping and the ability to manage daily financial transactions
- Experience with Accounting Software and tools for managing financial data
- Understanding of Finance principles and applications in a real estate context
- Expertise in Journal Entries and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in the real estate or property management sector is a plus
