Credit Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW

Do you want to apply your financial analysis expertise to help Horizon Bank maintain its sound lending practices? The Credit Analyst II underwrites loan requests for agricultural business and real estate, reviewing and analyzing financial and industry data, borrower performance, and management capabilities to assess credit worthiness and estimate the degree of risk involved in extending credit to commercial customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Credit Analyst II is accountable for meeting specified goals related to proper loan risk rating determinations, quality loan presentation and productivity. This role represents the Bank with a courteous , professional manner in face-to-face, written, and telephone communications with both internal and external customers. It is responsible for adherence to regulatory compliance standards including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), company policies and procedures, as well as the quality and timeliness of departmental activities. The Credit Analyst II actively protects the confidentiality of customer and account information, and demonstrates Horizon Bank’s commitment to the communities we serve through active involvement in local organizations and events.
