The Role

Full-time litigation attorney based in Warwick, RI with hybrid flexibility. You will carry your own caseload from intake through resolution across federal and state courts, EEOC, RICHR, and MCAD administrative proceedings, and DLT administrative proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to assist on civil rights matters including excessive force and unlawful search cases. That means drafting complaints, motions, and discovery; taking and defending depositions; developing case strategy; preparing cases for trial; and appearing in court regularly. You will work directly with clients through every stage — intake interviews, consultations, and ongoing communication — and be expected to manage a case docket independently, but supported by paralegal and administrative staff. The firm provides mentorship and a collaborative environment for attorneys developing their litigation practice.

What We're Looking For

• JD and active Rhode Island bar membership required (or be eligible and willing to seek immediate admission to RI bar); Massachusetts a plus
• Minimum two years of litigation experience required; plaintiff-side employment or civil rights experience strongly preferred. Defense-side candidates with a genuine interest in crossing over will be considered
• Experience managing cases through all stages of litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding caseload and work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range $100,000 – $150,000, negotiable based on experience
• Resolution bonuses and origination fee-sharing are paid above and beyond base salary. Total compensation is uncapped and directly tied to your results.
