Family Advocacy Specialist

Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this Member will serve with Child Inc. of DE,. They will support efforts to strengthen organizational infrastructure related to advocacy, community resources, and client support systems. The member will assist in developing informational materials, improving documentation and referral systems, supporting partnership development, and contributing to training and evaluation efforts. Through these activities, the member will help expand organizational capacity to provide consistent, informed, and sustainable support services.

Member Duties : Assist in developing and improving resource materials and informational guides related to crisis support and court processes. Support systems for collecting, organizing, and maintaining information on court procedures and community resources. Help develop training materials and workshops focused on domestic violence awareness and organizational capacity building. Assist in improving systems that support consistent and supportive client experiences within Family Court settings. Support efforts to document and expand available service and referral options for clients. Help build and maintain partnerships with community organizations to strengthen referral networks and collaboration. Contribute to data tracking, evaluation, and reporting systems that improve service delivery and organizational outcomes. Participate in professional development and training opportunities that strengthen organizational sustainability and effectiveness.
