Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team as a Foreman/Lead. In this role, you will lead a crew of 1–6 electricians and apprentices on assigned projects. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards while supporting the Field Supervisor in executing project goals.

This is a hands-on leadership position — you will work in the field while guiding and developing your crew.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a crew of electricians and apprentices
• Assign daily tasks based on direction from the Field Supervisor
• Provide hands-on guidance, support, and training to team members
• Ensure team understands expectations and project requirements

Work Execution

• Perform and oversee electrical installations
• Ensure all work follows drawings, plans, specifications, and National Electrical Code
• Maintain high productivity while preventing rework
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges in the field

Quality Control & Safety

• Review completed work for accuracy and quality
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Promote safe work practices and proper use of PPE
• Report any safety incidents or concerns immediately

Communication & Coordination

• Provide regular updates on project progress and job site conditions
• Communicate delays, issues, or change orders promptly
• Coordinate materials and keep work areas organized and clean

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

• Current Journeyman Electrician License
• Proven field experience leading or working on electrical installations
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
