Regional Sales Manager

I'm looking to add a proven sales leader to our organization to help us achieve our 10-year growth target of $250M in annual revenue while protecting over 60,000 homes in Florida with our exclusive lifetime-exterior coating system and our category 5 hurricane-rated windows and doors. Sunbelt Home Solutions is on pace for a 70% year over year growth in revenue and we are growing faster than we have leaders to support the growth.
Allow me to be up front: This is not a desk-management position. This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who can recruit, train, coach, and develop elite one-call closers and managers while still being willing to get in the field and sell side by side with their team for training and coaching purposes.
This role will oversee the sales department in our two current locations (Saint Petersburg and Fort Myers ) as well as assist in launching and developing our next branch in Orlando (coming in 2027). As a department head, this role will require developing a deep knowledge of the business CORE processes and will be involved in weekly and monthly leadership meetings to plan and execute the vision of the business.
This person will lead our sales department and MUST be a student of sales psychology and processes, as well as continuous development as a leader and manager. Growth paths to Director and C-Suite are available as the company continues to grow and the need for such roles come due.
The right candidate will meet the following criteria:
- 5+ years of in-home one-call closing experience
- Average ticket size of $20,000+
- 2–3+ years managing and developing teams of 20 or more sales reps
- Must have grown a sales department from $20M to $60M or beyond
- Experience hiring, training, and scaling high-performance sales teams
- Strong understanding of sales psychology, objection handling, and process discipline
- Ability to hold accountability and enforce standards
- Coachable and adaptable to new business systems and processes
- A champion and protector of company culture
- Ability to evolve and grow beyond their current set of skills and understanding
The wrong candidate will experience or demonstrate any of the following:
- An unwillingness to be in the field and sell jobs during training or as needed once fully stepping into the role
- Unable to adapt to new standards and processes
- Will focus on their own interests as a priority of that of their team
- Inability to hire, train and coach sales reps and managers to follow processes and policies
- An inability to gain the trust and respect of the sales and leadership teams by failing to assimilate into the company cadence and culture
