Overview

Location: Hybrid - Albany, NY

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000

We are seeking a Project Manager who will support our client to lead planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communications for public sector IT initiatives. This role will help keep project teams organized, risks visible, and deliverables on track. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented communicator who can manage competing priorities and build strong relationships with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

Duties

• Create and maintain project documentation
• Create and maintain project workplans
• Facilitate project meetings
• Create necessary communications for project stakeholders including project status and associated risks.
• Maintain risk/issue logs
• Provide PM support to project team leads and executive staff where necessary.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Business or related discipline.
• 6 – 10 years of relevant project management experience
• 3+ years of experience managing IT or public sector projects.
• 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including project workplans, schedules, status reports, and risk/issue logs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Office 365 collaboration tools.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with diverse stakeholder groups through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communications.
• Demonstrated success facilitating project meetings and communicating project status, risks, and issues to team leads and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with Medicaid data or Medicaid Information Technology project is strongly preferred.
