ARTS Teacher-Summer School K-4

Position Overview: Join our dynamic Summer School Enrichment Program as a Fine Arts Teacher, where you'll inspire and nurture young minds in grades K-4. We are seeking passionate educators in the fields of Visual Arts, Dance, Theatre, and Music to create an engaging and enriching learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities

• Teach fine arts classes for 19.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and artistic

expression

• Encourage students to explore their artistic talents and build confidence in their abilities.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience teaching young children, preferably in an enrichment or summer school setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for the arts.
• Grades: Kindergarten through 4th grade

Compensation-based on certification

Certified teacher- $35.00

Non certified instructor- $17.50
