A global manufacturing organization is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to join their team in Greenwood, Indiana! This role is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations, executing production plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output while maintaining a strong hands-on presence on the shop floor to drive performance, uphold compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Production Supervisor's Pay & Benefits

Production & Daily Operations
- Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements
- Develop and manage production schedules and coordinate activities to ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and processes to maintain efficient workflow
- Monitor production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze reports and operational data to support decision-making
- Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently met
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify efficiency improvements
- Maintain organized work areas and uphold housekeeping standards
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement
- Drive performance through strong leadership presence on the shop floor
- Set goals and track performance at the team and individual level
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Support hiring and training initiatives and partner with HR as needed
Quality & Standardized Work
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions
- Conduct audits and support adherence to operational processes
- Control quality deviations, defects, and production line stops
- Partner with Quality teams on corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Support internal quality systems and customer requirements
Continuous Improvement & Operational Discipline
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and performance meetings
- Support waste reduction and workflow optimization
- Ensure adherence to internal operational standards and audit processes
- Work with Maintenance and support teams to minimize downtime
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments
- Communicate effectively across teams to resolve issues and improve operations
- Build strong internal relationships to support production success
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management preferred
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards
- Experience with ERP systems or S&OP processes preferred
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
