A Software Analyst job in Grand Rapids, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. Primary function of this role is to learn, document, and support software processes including SQL querying and scripting, system API integration, system upgrades, data export/processing, and reporting. We have multiple software solutions that communicate to pass data back and forth, including custom finance and procurement systems, enterprise asset management, HRIS/payroll, and transit scheduling software. There would also be some light SQL database work as well

Pay: $30/hour to $35/hour

Software Analyst Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade enterprise level applications.
  • Plan, analyze, develop, and implement interfaces for enterprise applications to other internal or external systems.
  • Gather and translate business and technical requirements into integration specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to support integration efforts.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Support the development of APIs, data mapping, and data synchronization scripts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree OR Associates with at least two years of work experience
  • Basic SQL programming, scripting and database experience
  • Enterprise-level business applications and systems experience – including integration support between multiple systems
