Role Overview

DJ’s Sportscards is hiring a Pokémon Specialist to offer top tier customer service, evaluate and purchase Pokémon cards and collections, and price and sort new inventory. This role requires the ability to make customers feel welcome and cared for, strong knowledge of the Pokémon market, and the ability to work directly with customers to make fair and informed buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Offering top tier customer service
• Support overall store operations and customer experience
• Evaluate and purchase Pokémon cards and collections from customers and sellers
• Assess card condition, authenticity, rarity, and current market value
• Monitor Pokémon market trends, new releases, and pricing changes
• Negotiate purchases in a professional and transparent manner
• Sort, organize, and prepare purchased inventory for resale

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of Pokémon cards, including modern and vintage sets
• Understanding of online marketplaces and pricing tools
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Integrity, reliability, and professionalism
