Kanga Coolers is a fast-growing consumer products brand based in Greenville, SC, best known for creating fun, custom, iceless coolers designed to keep drinks cold without the hassle of ice. After appearing on Shark Tank in 2019, Kanga gained national exposure and has continued building a strong brand presence through creative products, custom partnerships, and a growing wholesale channel.
As the company continues to scale, Kanga is looking for a driven Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and grow its independent wholesale sales channel across the U.S.
About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on sales leadership role focused on expanding Kanga’s presence across boutiques, gift shops, surf shops, outfitters, specialty retailers, college stores, lifestyle retailers, and similar wholesale accounts.
The right person will bring strong sales hunger, relationship-building ability, and enough leadership experience to manage independent reps, grow accounts, and help scale a high-potential channel.
Product-based sales experience is preferred, especially within consumer goods, retail, wholesale, outdoor/lifestyle, apparel, accessories, home goods, or similar physical products. However, Kanga is open to strong sales talent from a variety of industries who can bring energy, accountability, and a proven ability to drive revenue.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow Kanga’s independent wholesale sales channel
- Manage, support, and hold independent multi-line reps accountable
- Recruit and onboard new reps in underrepresented territories
- Manage house accounts and build strong relationships with wholesale customers
- Identify and open new wholesale account opportunities across the U.S.
- Drive revenue growth through consistent follow-up, account development, and sales strategy
- Attend and support wholesale trade shows throughout the year
- Track rep activity, territory performance, account growth, and sales results
- Partner with internal teams on customer needs, orders, inventory, and upcoming opportunities
- Bring energy, organization, urgency, and accountability to a growing sales channel
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience with a strong track record of driving revenue
- Some experience managing, coaching, or supporting sales reps, distributors, dealers, or a sales team
- Strong sales hunger — proactive, competitive, motivated, and comfortable owning a number
- Product-based sales experience preferred, especially in consumer goods, retail, wholesale, outdoor/lifestyle products, apparel, accessories, home goods, or similar physical goods
- Experience working with independent reps, distributors, dealers, retailers, or wholesale accounts is a plus
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Ability to build trust with customers, reps, and internal team members
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, customer meetings, and sales opportunities
- Must be able to work in-office in Greenville, SC
