About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to help lead the transition of our accounting

accounting practices, and helping the company adapt its financial processes as we

continue through ongoing CMMC alignment efforts.

We are looking for someone interested in becoming a long-term operational

partner within the company — someone who is experienced, adaptable, and

capable of operating effectively within a collaborative small-business environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline (MBA or advanced finance certification preferred)

  • Solid grasp of GAAP principles and familiarity with, and the ability to quickly adapt to, evolving CMMC compliance requirements and related financial process controls
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. You must be a US citizen for consideration
  • Ability to operate effectively within a dynamic small-business environment while collaborating closely with leadership to drive decision-making

Desired Skills

  • Experience operating within DCAA-audited or audit-ready accounting environments
  • Experience leading an accounting team and owning accounting operations

  • Experience maintaining alignment between labor distribution, timekeeping, payroll, accounting, and benefits systems
  • Familiarity with employee benefits reconciliation, including retirement plans and HSA contribution tracking
  • Familiarity with accounting operations within companies undergoing rapid growth or operational scaling
  • Ability to improve financial and operational processes without disrupting ongoing business operations
