This Electrical Engineer job is a Direct Hire role with our client located in Rockford IL, 61108 (Onsite). We are ideally looking for candiates having some expereicne with Aerospace industries as an Electrical Engineer.

Salary Range: $120000 to $155000 per Anum with benefits. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

The Electrical Engineer is a key member of a cross-disciplinary team driving the design, development and execution of the actuation systems program for the next generation of military and commercial aircraft. The Electrical Engineer works on the development of new products, and the improvement and sustainment of products. Engineering duties will span the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and requirements capture through manufacture and field support.

Essential Job Functions

Candidates are expected to be able to lead the design of the required circuitry (Digital, Analog, and Power) and integrate the circuit design with software to support system architecture. Designs will be to Aerospace standards including but not limited to DO-160 and DO-254.

Integrate Hardware and software for embedded microprocessor devices and firmware-based FPGA devices.

Design and development of embedded systems circuitry and printed circuit assemblies according to IPC standards.

Generate design documentation including requirements specifications, design details, test procedures and reports.

Prepare and review the drawings and layouts for production parts, components, and test equipment.

Required Competencies

Education/Experience

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited course of study or related field required.

Experience as an Electrical Engineer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be a self-directed individual requiring minimal supervision.

Proficiency in the use of C software programming language.

Fundamental circuit design skills and knowledge of analog and digital circuits.

Experience in analysis and schematic layout software packages

Familiarity with electrical analysis software

Computer work and drawing interpretation, as well as a familiarity with schematics or Engineering drawings.
