Lifecycle Marketing Manager

About the Role
We’re looking for a data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the full customer lifecycle, from first touch to repeat purchase. This role will be responsible for driving paid media acquisition, building our CRM database, and increasing retention through lifecycle marketing programs. This person will manage and execute across email, SMS, push notifications, and loyalty programs while partnering with external agencies to optimize paid acquisition channels.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle & CRM Management
- Own the strategy and execution of email, SMS, and push notification marketing
- Build and manage automated lifecycle flows (welcome, abandon cart, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
- Own revenue growth from owned marketing channels including email, SMS, and lifecycle automations
- Create and deploy campaign calendars for promotional and brand messaging
- Segment audiences to deliver personalized and high-performing messaging
- Continuously test and optimize flows, subject lines, creative, and offers
Paid Media Acquisition
- Partner with our paid media agency to support and optimize acquisition campaigns across channels including Meta, Google, Paid social platforms etc.
- Collaborate on testing new creative concepts, messaging, and offers
- Use CRM insights to help inform targeting, creative strategy, and audience segmentation
- Monitor performance metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and customer acquisition trends
Loyalty & Retention
- Manage and optimize the loyalty and rewards program
- Create strategies that increase repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, & customer engagement
- Launch campaigns designed to reactivate lapsed customers
CRM & List Growth
- Build strategies to grow email and SMS subscriber lists
- Optimize on-site pop-ups, forms, and lead capture experiences
- Maintain database health and list hygiene
Performance & Analytics
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
- Return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Email/SMS revenue
- Retention rate
- Customer lifetime value (LTV)
- Use insights to continuously improve campaign performance
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM marketing
- Experience managing email platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing
- Experience working with paid media
- Analytical mindset with experience using marketing data to drive decisions
- Experience working in ecommerce or DTC brands
