Join a Strong, High-Performing AP Team
We have an immediate opening for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our centralized Accounts Payable department supporting multiple healthcare facilities. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and overall departmental workflow. Accuracy, organization, responsiveness, and accountability are critical in this role.
The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage deadlines, communicate professionally, and integrate well into an established team with high standards and strong collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and payment requests
- Review invoices for accuracy and required supporting documentation
- Assist with weekly payment processing and AP workflow management
- Monitor AP inboxes and respond to vendor and internal inquiries
- Follow up on approvals and outstanding items
- Maintain organized electronic records and documentation
- Assist with month-end AP responsibilities and reporting support
- Research and help resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Support facility teams and internal departments with AP-related requests
- Follow established AP procedures and internal controls
Qualifications
- Prior Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize deadlines
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume workflow efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Team-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills, and Google Workspace required
- Experience working with multiple companies/entities preferred
- Experience with ERP systems or invoice workflow platforms
