Position Overview

One of our clients is launching a new internal brainstorming and innovation initiative and is seeking an experienced facilitation professional to help train and upskill their team with best practices. They are looking for a seasoned facilitator to bring real-world experience into their creative studio showing the team how to confidently plan, lead, and manage effective brainstorming sessions.

Location: Southfield, MI (In-person)

Engagement: One day session, with potential for future sessions

Key Responsibilities

• Lead an in-person, hands-on facilitation training for a small R&D/creative team
• Walk through your approach to planning and running a successful facilitation (structure, timing, group dynamics, materials, and techniques)
• Share practical tools, templates, and materials the team can reuse internally
• Help build confidence in leading future internal innovation and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications

• Proven experience facilitating brainstorming, innovation, or design-thinking workshops
• Strong people and group-management skills (guiding discussions, managing time, engaging participants)
• Background in facilitation, creative problem-solving, or similar training (formal programs, teaching, or recognized credentials a plus)

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
