Full-time Position

C2 Design Group is currently seeking a talented Project Manager with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience to join our Schenectady office. The qualified candidate will be capable of handling a diverse range of projects. The candidate will have the opportunity to serve as the firm’s design lead.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and manages the work of the project team
  • Mentor staff while serving as a team builder and motivator
  • Manage multiple projects of varying types
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshoots complex issues
  • Provides ongoing communication through team meetings and presentations
  • Ensure quality project deliverables while adhering to client budgets and schedules
  • Coordinate with and lead consultant teams and other disciplines to ensure project details are executed, including technical issues and project information
  • Review documents for compliance with building and ADA codes
  • Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards.
  • Responsible for managing project budget, work plans, consultants, and schedule
  • Develops detailed project schedule and communicates key deliverable dates to project team
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Keep the client informed of project progress on a regular basis
  • Participates in selected marketing/business development opportunities

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a lead designer or project manager in all phases of projects through post-occupancy
  • Design, production, and technical expertise through all phases of design
  • Creative and thoughtful design experience with a solid understanding of the built environment
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is required
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully mentor
  • Familiar with NYS Code and Specifications
  • Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards

Salary

  • $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
