Brandefy is a startup based in Richmond, VA focused on creating clinically backed skincare inspired by prestige formulas without the luxury markup. Built around transparency, education, and results, we’ve grown a loyal community of skincare enthusiasts while also becoming a trusted brand in dermatologist and medical offices across the country. Our mission is to make high-performance skincare more approachable and accessible.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented intern to support our growing marketing team with paid social content, creator management, and campaign execution. If you’re someone who spends way too much time on social media, loves skincare, and understands what makes people stop scrolling, this role is for you.

This is a short-term, part-time internship designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in paid social strategy, creator marketing, and content production at a fast-growing beauty startup.

Paid Social Creative & Content Support

• Assist in developing creative concepts for paid social ads across Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital platforms
• Research trending hooks, formats, audios, and creator styles to inform ad strategy
• Help brainstorm new ad angles, headlines, scripts, and campaign concepts
• Organize and maintain creative libraries, performance trackers, and content databases

Content Creation & Video Editing

• Create short-form video content for paid social advertisements across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta
• Film and edit content using tools like CapCut, TikTok, Canva, or similar editing software
• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-performing content optimized for paid advertising
• Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, hooks, and storytelling techniques that drive engagement

Creator & Influencer Management

• Write detailed creator briefs with talking points, hooks, deliverables, and content direction
• Assist in sourcing creators and managing partnerships
• Manage content deliverables, timelines, and approvals
• Review creator content to ensure it aligns with brand voice and campaign goals

Analytics and Performance

• Assist in tracking and reporting on paid social creative performance across Meta, TikTok, and other platforms
• Help identify trends, winning hooks, and high-performing content styles to inform future creative strategy

YOU ARE

• Interested in beauty, skincare, content creation, and marketing
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Based in Richmond, VA and/or able to work in-person at our office

YOU HAVE

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
• Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, Figma, or similar creative tools is a plus
• Interest in marketing, communications, beauty, or content creation
• Previous content creation or social media experience is a bonus, but not required

• Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary Summer Internship
• Location: Richmond, VA (In-Person)
• Compensation: $20-22/hour
• Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
