Customer Service Representative/Teller

First National Bank of Louisiana is seeking a full-time dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Teller to join our team in Lake Charles. This role is ideal for someone with prior banking experience who enjoys helping customers and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

The CSR/Teller will assist customers with account services and daily banking transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires flexibility to perform both teller and CSR duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and maintain consumer and commercial accounts
• Assist customers with a variety of banking services and transactions
• Support online banking, mobile deposit, and digital banking tools
• Monitor daily reports, follow up with customers, and document activity
• Process and support wire transfers
• Assist with debit card services
• Handle stop payments, check orders, temporary checks, and cashier’s checks

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds (coin bags/boxes)
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 1–5 years of banking experience
• At least 1 year of account opening experience
• Familiarity with banking software systems and general computer proficiency
