Boiler Room Operator

We are looking for a 3rd shift Boiler Room Operator

PURPOSE

This position is responsible for maintaining boiler operations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous steam operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise, acting as boiler operation systems, vessels, processes, and troubleshooting knowledge for department.
• Performs various tasks which may include monitoring, preventative maintenance.
• Works independently, or with other department staff to resolve errors and system faults, researching and pursuing issues to final resolution.
• Provides guidance and advice to less experienced staff in the resolution of system errors and issues.
• Ensures that own work is in compliance with all corporate policies, safety guidelines and applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum Massachusetts Second Class Fireman License
