Business Operations Associates at CS Analytical in Clifton, NJ are responsible for a wide range of functions that will support best business practices, within a cGMP environment, for the success of daily operations. Sample and Supply logistics is responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials and client samples are handled in a professional manner according to company procedures.

  • Maintains a positive company image and positive relations between CSA, our clients, vendors and regulators.
  • Adheres to processes, policies and procedures within our defined CRM / LIMS / Quality Systems, documenting all information by maintaining electronic records as necessary.
  1. Answers side door and loading dock, accepting deliveries
  2. Performs sample intake and disposition: follows procedures for sample receipt, identification, intake, storage, retention & documentation of final disposition (discarding and/or returning to client (RTC) as necessary).
  3. Performs the ordering (upon request), receipt, labeling, intake, storage, disposal of chemicals, reagents and reference standards & supplies.
  4. Maintains chemical inventory in conjunction with Laboratory employees.
  5. Prepares outgoing shipping labels, paperwork and parcels for all aspects of the company operations, including returning samples, sending out desiccants, positive controls, samples for change parts, etc.
  6. Maintains / assists with general housekeeping of sample, inventory, and warehouse areas as necessary and performs other duties as assigned.

Organizational Relationship

Reports to the Business Operations Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines associated with a cGMP, FDA-registered environment, past experience strongly preferred
  • Posses excellent organizational and communication (written/ verbal) skills; ability to use critical thinking, multi-task and pay attention to detail.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and commit to being consistent, determined and have a willingness to learn new things; have a good work ethic and desire to deliver exceptional support and service to others.
