Event door/ host (Part-Time) - San Diego Chess & Social.

San Diego Chess & Social is one of the fastest-growing social clubs in San Diego

We are looking for people interested in working the door and helping host weekly bar events where 50-150 people come together to play chess, socialize, and meet new people.

We're looking for a high-energy, charismatic person to help with the vibe.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and get everyone connected
• Make sure every guest has a great experience
• Capture fun photos/videos for social media
• Help with light setup/breakdown
• Spot people looking for a game and introduce them to others

You're a Great Fit If You:

• Love talking to people and bringing groups together
• Have strong social energy and confidence
• Can read a room and make people feel comfortable
• Have basic chess knowledge (no need to be a pro)
• Are reliable and ready to be part of a growing community

Schedule

Wednesday, Encinitas (6-9:30 PM)

Details

• Pay: $20/hour
• Requirements: 21+, reliable transportation, able to lift 30+ Ibs
• Bonus: Social media/content experience
• Restaurant or service industry experience
