Sr. FP&A/Cost Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Sr. FP&A/Cost Manager. This position is part of an expanded finance leadership structure and will play a central role in overseeing manufacturing cost disciplines, analytical reporting, and a team supporting operational finance activities. The role is well-suited for someone with deep manufacturing cost experience who enjoys operating in a complex, large-scale environment.

Duties:

• Lead manufacturing cost oversight, including analysis, reporting, and performance measurement
• Evaluate financial results and operating trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Provide financial visibility and insights to both finance leadership and operational stakeholders
• Support close-related activities tied to manufacturing and operational results
• Develop forward-looking analysis to support strategic and operational planning decisions
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory-related financial data
• Track and assess efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization efforts
• Collaborate with site leadership on financially driven operational initiatives
• Participate in planning cycles, including budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal control frameworks
• Build, mentor, and manage a team supporting cost and operational finance functions
• Synthesize operational data into concise financial narratives for leadership review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Background supporting or partnering with plant, operations, or supply chain leadership
• Strong foundation in manufacturing and financial analysis
