Position Overview

Rowan Appliance is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Marketing Associate to support the company’s marketing, content creation, social media, and customer engagement efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative work and customer interaction. The Marketing Associate will help create visual and digital content, assist with social media and marketing campaigns, and provide responsive customer support across multiple online sales and communication channels.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, visually creative, technologically savvy, and passionate about modern branding and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media

• Create photo and video content for social media, digital advertising, and e-commerce platforms
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta platforms, and other social channels
• Assist with product photography, lifestyle shoots, behind-the-scenes content, and creative campaigns
• Create basic graphics, visual assets, and marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
• Write captions, social media copy, and product-related marketing content aligned with Rowan’s brand voice
• Organize and manage digital content assets and media files

Customer Support & Community Engagement

• Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries, comments, messages, and support requests
• Assist customers across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Meta platforms, Marketplace, and other online sales channels
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, returns, and order-related issues with professionalism and empathy
• Monitor social media comments and community interactions
• Help maintain a positive and premium customer experience across all customer touchpoints

Marketing, Outreach & Brand Support

• Assist with marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives
• Support influencer outreach, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities
• Participate in offline events, trade shows, pop-up events, and community outreach activities as needed
• Help research social media trends, competitors, and emerging digital tools
• Support general marketing and operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Design, or a related field preferred
• Recent graduates with relevant experience, portfolios, or strong creative skills are encouraged to apply
• Experience creating and editing short-form social media content
• Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar creative tools
• Understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and modern social media trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, TikTok Shop, or e-commerce platforms
• Basic photography and videography skills
• Customer support or community management experience
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or content automation tools
