Position Overview

Rowan Appliance is seeking a proactive, organized, and relationship-oriented Brand Partnerships Manager to support the company’s offline brand growth, strategic partnerships, retail expansion, and community engagement initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, creating memorable brand experiences, and helping grow a premium consumer brand through real-world interactions and partnerships.

The Brand Partnerships Manager will play an important role in:

  • offline events and activations
  • retail and wholesale partnerships
  • influencer and media outreach
  • community engagement
  • market research and customer feedback
  • brand collaborations and strategic growth opportunities

The ideal candidate is professional, energetic, entrepreneurial, highly organized, and passionate about branding, storytelling, and human-centered experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesOffline Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan and execute offline events, pop-ups, product demonstrations, trade shows, and community activations
  • Represent Rowan Appliance at local events, retail activations, networking events, and partnership opportunities
  • Build relationships with local communities, organizations, creatives, and event partners
  • Gather customer feedback, market insights, and product feedback through direct consumer interaction
  • Help create engaging and premium offline brand experiences aligned with Rowan’s identity and values

Retail Partnerships & Business Development

  • Identify and develop relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, showrooms, and strategic business partners
  • Support Rowan’s expansion into physical retail locations and B2B sales opportunities
  • Coordinate partnership discussions, outreach efforts, and collaborative opportunities
  • Research new partnership channels, retail opportunities, and market expansion strategies
  • Maintain and organize partnership pipelines, communications, and follow-ups

PR, Influencer & Media Outreach

  • Assist with influencer outreach, media relationships, and partnership opportunities
  • Coordinate product gifting, reviews, collaborations, and brand partnership initiatives
  • Build relationships with bloggers, creators, journalists, and community influencers
  • Help increase Rowan’s visibility through authentic partnerships and storytelling opportunities

Brand Support & Operations

  • Coordinate logistics and execution for events, partnerships, and promotional initiatives
  • Work closely with leadership to support brand growth and strategic initiatives
  • Assist with general partnership, marketing, and operational tasks as assigned

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
  • 3–7 years of experience in brand partnerships, experiential marketing, community marketing, PR, business development, retail partnerships, or related fields
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing events, activations, partnerships, or community initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Passion for premium consumer brands, lifestyle products, design, and customer experience

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience working with consumer brands, lifestyle brands, home products, wellness, hospitality, or premium retail
  • Existing relationships with retailers, media contacts, influencers, or community organizations
  • Experience with wholesale partnerships or retail account management
  • Familiarity with influencer outreach, PR coordination, or experiential marketing
  • Startup or high-growth company experience

Location

Based in Torrance, California

This role includes local travel for events, partnerships, retail outreach, and community activations throughout the Los Angeles area. Occasional domestic and international travel may also be required based on business needs and partnership opportunities.
