Commodity / Purchasing Manager

CV Resources is partnering with a growing natural foods manufacturer to identify a Commodity Manager / Purchasing Manager to manage sourcing, procurement, and supply-chain operations during a critical busy season. This is an on-site opportunity in Eugene, OR, with an immediate start available.

What You’ll Do

• Manage sourcing and procurement activities for high-value food ingredient categories
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms
• Monitor market trends and proactively mitigate supply-chain and sourcing risk
• Support demand planning, inventory management, and purchasing forecasts
• Conduct supplier evaluations, cost analyses, and procurement reporting
• Help improve procurement systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies

  What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, commodity management, and/or supply-chain experience
  • MUST HAVE food manufacturing or food ingredient purchasing experience
  • Experience managing complex product categories preferred
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; ERP experience required (X3/SIA a plus)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities
  • Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in Eugene, OR
  • Must pass a standard pre-employment drug screen
