Core Qualifications
- 1–3+ years experience as a Medical Scribe (preferably in outpatient or telehealth settings)
- Preferably a nurse/nursing graduate
- Hands-on experience with AdvancedMD (charting, templates, order entry, workflows)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, especially in mental health / behavioral health
- HPI, ROS, MSE, Assessment & Plan
- Medication lists and changes
- Accurate ICD-10 and CPT support (basic level is fine)
- Excellent typing speed (60+ WPM) with high accuracy
- Strong listening and comprehension skills during live patient encounters
- Experience in psychiatry / behavioral health documentation
- Familiarity with common psychiatric medications
- Experience supporting telehealth workflows (Zoom)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and documentation standards
