We represent injured people across the Commonwealth in car wreck, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, trucking, workers' compensation, wrongful death, and long-term disability cases.

We use a team-based model — every case is staffed by the full firm, not handed off to one attorney working alone.

The Role

We're hiring an experienced trial attorney to manage a docket of plaintiff personal injury matters and contribute to the firm's litigation practice.

You'll handle cases from intake through resolution or trial, work directly with clients, and collaborate with our attorneys and staff on complex matters.

What you'll do

• Manage a personal injury docket
• Handle discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and hearings
• Evaluate liability and damages and build case strategy
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients

Requirements

• Active Virginia State Bar license in good standing
• 5–8 years of practice as a licensed attorney
• Substantial courtroom experience — civil litigation, prosecution, or criminal defense
• Strong writing and oral advocacy

Preferred

• Plaintiff-side personal injury experience
• Jury trial experience
• Working knowledge of Virginia's contributory negligence rule

Prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers welcome. Trial skill is what we need most. We will train the right candidate on civil discovery and written motions practice.
