We’re Hiring: Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative

Mobile, Alabama (In-Person)

Superior Transportation, Inc is growing, and we’re looking for a dependable and motivated Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to support operations at our Mobile, AL terminal.

This role is ideal for someone with container drayage and port operations experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, communication, and keeping freight moving efficiently.

Position Highlights:

• Coordinate and dispatch container moves to/from APM Terminal

• Schedule pickups, deliveries, appointments, and driver assignments

• Communicate with drivers, customers, brokers, and port terminals

• Track ETAs, load status, PODs, and operational updates

• Support billing documentation and issue resolution

• Monitor equipment utilization and driver productivity

Qualifications:

• Experience in container drayage, dispatching, or port operations required

• Familiarity with APM Terminal operations and Termpoint preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, TMS systems)

Preferred Experience:

• Dispatch software / TMS systems

• Port appointment systems, chassis, and container flow

• Fleet or driver management
