Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains benefit enrollments, coverage, deductions and premiums to ensure correct payroll processing and compliance with carriers and federal and state compliance. Evaluates and analyzes enrollment actions, performs complex calculations for collection and refund of premiums based on enrollment and employee status changes. Maintains and monitors benefit set up to support IRS compliance with Affordable Care Act reporting requirements. Requires a high degree of accuracy, data entry, reconciliation and critical attention to details. Responsible for adhering to strict payroll deadlines and turnaround processing deadlines of workloads. Review, analyzing, and updating of large volumes of confidential employee records, payroll deductions in compliance with regulations and business rules. Performs complex calculations of benefit adjustments. Reconciles data, performs data entry and balances payroll activities and transactions, performs research and complies with State and Federal requirements. Composes communication to employees to request information and provide payroll information and guidance. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

High School diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
