Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the bidding process for commercial construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring our projects are profitable and delivered on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects based on takeoffs and blueprint readings.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify key cost factors and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Generate and submit competitive bids to clients while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from clients and contractors regarding bid specifications and project details.
  • Review and update estimating processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction projects.
  • Strong skills in takeoffs, estimating, and preparing bids.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction drawings.
  • Experience in managing RFIs and providing timely responses to project inquiries.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
