Mechanical Engineer

Leading Fuel Cell business currently seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to the team.

Opportunity to play a pivotal role in the mechanical aspects of innovative technology production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing enclosures and subassemblies in SolidWorks.
• Collaborating with mechanical engineers who have experience in 3D printing, taking concepts, and knocking out costs.
• Working on designing plastic components and manufacturing methods including injection molding & 3D printing.
• Working with sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Collaborating with a creative team while ensuring project timelines are met.

Experience Required:

• Mechanical Engineering educational background.
• Product design experience.
• Previous experience in designing and building small-scale consumer products. Experience designing packaging appliances for consumer electronics or products would be beneficial.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
• A portfolio showcasing your CAD work with 2-3 slides of designs you've created.
• Extensive experience working to deadlines.
