The Role
We are splitting our commercial lines department and creating a dedicated renewal manager position. This person will own the renewal cycle for our commercial book — keeping accounts retained, documentation sharp, and clients well-served so our Senior CL Producer can focus on new business.
This is a great entry point into commercial lines insurance. If you are detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with technology, and genuinely enjoy talking to business owners, we will invest in training you the right way.
What You Will Do
Own the renewal cycle for assigned commercial accounts — proactive outreach starting 60 days before expiration
Prepare ACORD applications and supplemental apps for renewals and re-markets
Issue Certificates of Insurance and handle endorsements and policy changes
Conduct coverage reviews and identify account rounding opportunities
Intercept and attempt to save cancellations before they process
Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow — drafting communications, researching coverage questions, and improving your own efficiency
Document all client activity in EZLynx same day, every day
Work alongside our Senior CL Producer and report directly to the Agency Principal
What We Are Looking For
Active Louisiana P&C producer license — required at time of hire
Comfortable with technology and not afraid to learn new tools quickly
Proficient enough with AI (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to use it as a daily work tool — not just familiar with it in theory
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable talking to business owners on the phone — not just emailing
Organized enough to manage a large renewal pipeline without dropping anything
Willing to learn commercial lines products from the ground up — we will train you
Experience with EZLynx or similar agency management systems is a plus, not a requirement
