The Opportunity

We are a fully licensed, well-positioned, independent start-up dealership in Lowell, MA, looking for an entrepreneurial Used Car Manager to build our operations from the ground up. We've secured a long-term lease with favorable rent in a prime location (lots of frontage and on a street with a 20,000+ daily traffic count); now, we need the right partner to drive the engine.

The Role

You will have total autonomy to shape the sales floor and inventory strategy. Key responsibilities include:

• Inventory Strategy: Sourcing, appraising, and acquiring high-turnover inventory.
• Sales Leadership: Establishing sales processes, managing the customer pipeline, and closing deals.
• Business Building: Developing workflows for reconditioning, marketing, and floor management.
• Strategic Growth: Working alongside ownership to scale the business from a start-up to a local powerhouse.

What You Bring

• Proven Track Record: Deep experience in automotive sales and a "closer" mentality.
• Buying Expertise: Extensive experience purchasing inventory (Auctions, private party, etc.).
• Resources: You must have established sources for inventory and access to purchasing capital (Floor plan or private) to kickstart the lot's selection.
• Entrepreneurial Grit: The desire to move away from the corporate "big box" feel to build something you own.
