New Product Introduction Engineer

Job Title: Contractor Engineer(Manufacturing & Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)

Location: EI Paso, TX

Client: Medical

Work Mode: On-site (5 days/week)

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract W2 with Medical benefits)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Job Summary

This role supports new product development and product transfers into manufacturing. The engineer will plan, coordinate, and execute technical activities related to equipment, processes, and validations while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product transfers and product development projects
• Coordinate with suppliers for manufacturing equipment and tooling
• Manage equipment purchase, delivery, and installation
• Develop and execute validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ, PPQ)
• Perform test method validation and Gage R&R studies
• Create SOPs and manufacturing procedures
• Conduct component qualifications and process validations
• Perform process characterization and Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Analyze manufacturing capacity and support line design
• Prepare documentation for capital projects
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, and company policies

Required Skills

• Strong technical writing skills
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, EHS, and statistical methods
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with MS Project and Minitab

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

5+ years of experience in:

• Manufacturing
• New product transfer (NPI/NPT)
• Product/process development
• Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• DOE and process characterization
• Equipment/tooling and manufacturing setup
• Root cause analysis and investigations
• SOP creation and process documentation

Nice to Have

• Lean / Six Sigma certification
• Project Management certification
• Engineering certification (EIT/PE)
