Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineer to support environmental consulting and project-related work throughout Louisiana and surrounding areas.

This role combines field work, project coordination, technical documentation, and engineering support. The position is intended for someone early in their career who wants hands-on project experience and the opportunity to grow into larger technical and project management responsibilities over time.

This is not a desk-only engineering role. Team members spend time both in the field and in the office supporting active projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with environmental investigations and site assessments
  • Performing field documentation and project observations
  • Supporting asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality projects
  • Assisting with sampling activities and data collection
  • Preparing technical reports and project documentation
  • Assisting with project coordination and scheduling
  • Supporting development of project specifications, scopes of work, and drawings
  • Coordinating with contractors, facility personnel, and project stakeholders
  • Reviewing project information and laboratory results

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or related scientific field
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Preferred:

  • EIT certification or ability to obtain
  • Marched in a band or played sports while in High School
  • Internship or field experience related to construction, engineering, or environmental work
  • AutoCAD or drafting software experience
  • OSHA training
  • TWIC card
