Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Molding Operator and play a vital role in producing micro plastic components. In this position, you will operate various injection molding machines and automation to create precision parts that meet high quality standards. Responsibilities

• Use microscopes, hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Perform reoccurring line operations to mass-produce products.
• Manually execute operations by hand (ex. trimming or re-working parts, cleaning).
• Properly startup and shutdown work areas (molding machines, automation cells).
• Manually operate and troubleshoot minor alarms on the molding machines and automation cells.

Capabilities and/or Experience

• Prior experience in injection molding, defect sorting or with other manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to produce, work independently of direct supervision, maintain high production rates and quality control.

Physical Requirements

• Fine motor skills to manually manipulate and handle small components.
• Repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 3 consecutive hours
• Ability to work under a microscope for 2 consecutive hours
